Free Eye Check-Up Camps Bringing Vision & Hope to the Dooars Region
An Initiative by Dooars Humanity Uplift Foundation
The Dooars Humanity Uplift Foundation has launched a meaningful and impactful initiative by organizing regular Free Eye Check-Up and Treatment Camps at the NGO’s Dooars Centre. This program is dedicated to improving the eye health of the people of the Dooars region, especially those living in remote villages, tribal communities, and tea garden areas.
With limited healthcare access and rising cases of vision problems among children, elderly individuals, and daily-wage workers, these camps serve as a lifeline for hundreds of families. The Foundation partners with qualified eye specialists and medical teams to provide free eye screening, vision tests, cataract detection, basic treatment, and referrals for surgeries when needed.
